I went to purchase a laptop for college and wasn't quite sure which one would do what I needed it to do. The salesman was knowledge, friendly and overall helpful. He also recommend other items that may be of use to me, but he did not push any thing on me.
I was asked by an associate if he could help. He provided info on a subwoofer. He was knowledgeable, clear and concise. It was a good shopping experience. I know some others have had bad experiences at this store. It all depends on whether you get a good associate or a dimwit. There are some good ones here. If you get a bad one, try again later. The wealth of good work habits and intelligence is not distributed equally.
I've always had good experiences with Best Buy, and I think that comes from tempering expectations. No the help generally aren't subject matter expert, but they'll price match the big online retailers and they generally have what you need in stock and right down the road. That's worth paying sales tax at the register in my book.
I went to best buy to exchange a blu ray that my wife purchased for me. I wad able to locate it fast without any hassle. The staff was very nice and willing to give help when needed. I will definitely continue to shop here.
Not the best location I've been to. Staff apparently doesn't even know their own website's sales, I had to shore them the online price so they could price match. Was pretty disappointed about that. Just make sure if you buy anything there that you check the website before you check out, cause likely you'll find a cheaper price. Pretty shady business if you ask me...
