What happened to the quality of the food at Applebees? Their house sirloin used to be my favorite steak (before I found Texas Roadhouse). Now the steak is rubbery and has very little flavor. I couldn't even tell if it was cooked right. I would have gave it 1 star but my sweet tea was really good, and so was the broccoli, but why would I pay $20 for sweet tea and broccoli? Thought we would give it another try, but now I remember why we quit going to Applebees.
Nothing over the top. My guy and I went around 11pm they close at 1am saturday. We were sat as soon as we came in and our waiter was very nice and made good suggestions. We got a appetizer which came fast and our food came just as fast. The food was fresh and hot and tasted great. The closer it got to closing the waiter never rushed us out which is nice
Would give it a 0 star if I could. We went in stood at the hostess booth for a couple minutes no one came. There was 1 other couple in there. Noticed the hostess sitting at the bar with her feet propped up on the stool next to her. She looked right at us and just kept on chatting away. 2 people came in behind us and same no help. I guess they don't need any business. Both of us finally left. She was still sitting there all comfy, chatting away.
